Who am I?

I have been involved in Aviation since 1996. Initially starting in aviation as a hobby, I soon realized that my passion for aviation was deeply rooted. My path in professional aviation started just like most do; becoming an active CFI, then a regional airline First Officer and Captain. I soon found that my passion in aviation was equally about the people as it was the airplanes and flight. As such, I gravitated towards corporate flight department flying and management, flight school management and career mentorship. My desire to fuel the passion for others and boost their potential for success is overwhelming. I look forward to helping you meet your aviation goals.

How I work

I try and assist everyone I can within a reasonable amount of time. I prefer to book exams for applicants who are nearing completion of their training. I only schedule check-rides up to 6 weeks in advance. This reduces schedule conflict cancellations on either side and increases the chance that slots reserved will actually be utilized, as applicants book when they are ready for their check. Use the form on the appointments page get a hold of me for any services you may need.

“Jonathan’s extensive experience and expansive network in aviation is remarkable. From single-engine trainers to corporate jets, he provides keen insight and extremely valuable advice. I have flown with Jonathan as my instructor, worked with him through selection, negotiation, purchase and delivery of my aircraft and relied upon his advice for maintenance, repair and upgrades on multiple aircraft.

Not only does Jonathan have the knowledge, he has the business and people skills to leverage that knowledge and insight toward effective pilot instruction and aircraft management. His high integrity and ethics are also a key attribute.

I highly recommend Jonathan for any aviation advisory, instruction and management needs.”
